High temperature can cause a significant loss of print density. High humidity can lead to degradation of thermal prints. The thermal imaging layer of Ultrasound Paper (S#, HG#, or HD#) features high resistance to humidity and heat. Such degradation is much less marked with the Ultrasound Paper, which is designed to maintain picture durability.
